Prepare your Skin for the Cold: The Routine that Changes Everything

Every year, as soon as autumn sets in, I feel the need to adjust my beauty routine to prepare my skin for the arrival of winter. Between cold, wind and heated interiors, my sensitive skin with psoriasis needs special attention to stay hydrated, nourished and radiant. Here are the key steps in my routine, with my must-haves to protect my skin during this seasonal transition.

1. Gentle exfoliation for luminous skin

The first step in my routine is exfoliation, and I never forget it, even in autumn. Once or twice a week, I use an ultra-nourishing scrub, Thé Vert Exfoliant, enriched with sugar, coconut oil and shea butter. It eliminates dead cells while leaving a moisturizing veil on my skin. This is an essential step for subsequent skincare products to penetrate deeper into the skin.

My tip: I focus on the driest areas, such as elbows and knees, and always rinse with lukewarm water so as not to damage my skin.

2. Moisturizing the body with a nourishing oil

After every shower, I apply a dry body oil, Huile de Velours. It’s my number-one ally in nourishing and protecting my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. Enriched with active plant ingredients, it penetrates quickly and leaves my skin soft and slightly satin-smooth. I also love its subtle fragrance, which makes this moment even more pleasant.

Why do I love it in autumn? It moisturizes while reinforcing the skin barrier, which is essential as winter approaches.

3. Rose hydrosol mist to soothe and refresh

With the sun rising later and later, waking up can sometimes be quite difficult. That’s where my rose hydrosol mist, Rosée éternelle comes in. I use it after cleansing to rebalance and, above all, wake up my skin! I use it throughout the day for an instant boost of hydration and freshness. What’s more, its delicate rose fragrance has a soothing effect that’s good for the spirit.

4. A face serum, my must-have

The skin on my face is thinner and more exposed, so it needs special attention. Every morning and evening, I apply my anti-aging and antioxidant serum, Sérum Régénérant. It acts as a real shield against external aggressions, while having a lifting effect and boosting the radiance of my complexion. In autumn, I prefer serums rich in natural active ingredients to preserve my skin’s suppleness and elasticity.

Beauty tip: I gently massage the serum into my face to stimulate circulation and maximize absorption.

5. Moisturized, protected lips

Finally, I never forget to take care of my lips, which are often the first to suffer from the cold. My lip stick, Soft Kiss, is always at hand. Enriched with organic cocoa butter, organic coconut oil and jasmine macerate, it intensely moisturizes and protects my lips from chapping. I apply it generously morning, evening and whenever my lips feel a little dry.
