Routine peau sèche en hiver

Prepare Your Skin for Winter: The Routine That Changes Everything

Every year, as soon as autumn sets in, I feel the need to adjust my beauty routine to prepare my skin for the arrival of winter. Between the cold, the wind, and heated interiors, my sensitive skin with psoriasis requires special attention to stay hydrated, nourished, and radiant. Here are the key steps in my routine, with my essentials for protecting my skin during this seasonal transition.

1. Gentle exfoliation for radiant skin

The first step in my routine is exfoliation, and I never forget it, even in autumn. Once or twice a week, I use an ultra-nourishing scrub, the Green Tea Exfoliant, enriched with sugar, coconut oil, and shea butter. It removes dead skin cells while leaving a hydrating veil on my skin. This is an essential step for subsequent treatments to penetrate better and work deeply.
My tip: I focus on drier areas like elbows and knees, and I always rinse with lukewarm water to avoid irritating my skin.

2. Body hydration with a nourishing oil

After each shower, I apply a dry body oil, the Velvet Oil. It's my number one ally for nourishing and protecting my skin without a greasy feel. Enriched with plant active ingredients, it penetrates quickly and leaves my skin soft and slightly satiny. I also love its subtle scent, which makes this moment even more enjoyable.
Why I love it in autumn: It hydrates while strengthening the skin barrier, which is essential as winter approaches.

3. Rose hydrosol mist to soothe and refresh

With the sun rising later and later, waking up can sometimes be quite difficult. This is where my rose hydrosol mist, Rosée Éternelle, comes into play. I use it after cleansing to rebalance and, most importantly, wake up my skin! I use it throughout the day for an instant boost of hydration and freshness. Plus, its delicate rose scent has a soothing effect that's good for the mind.

4. A facial serum, my essential

My facial skin, being thinner and more exposed, requires special attention. Every morning and evening, I apply my anti-aging and antioxidant serum, the Regenerating Serum. It acts as a real shield against external aggressions while having a lifting effect and boosting my complexion's radiance. In autumn, I prefer serums rich in natural active ingredients to preserve my skin's suppleness and elasticity.
Beauty tip: I gently massage the serum onto my face to stimulate circulation and maximize its absorption.

5. Hydrated and protected lips

Finally, I never forget to take care of my lips, which are often the first to suffer from the cold. My lip stick, Soft Kiss, is always at hand. Enriched with organic cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, and jasmine macerate, it intensely hydrates and protects my lips from chapping. I apply it generously morning, evening, and whenever my lips feel a little dry.

Why is this routine essential?

This routine allows me to prepare my skin to face the challenges of winter. By combining exfoliation, hydration, and protection, I ensure that my skin remains supple, comfortable, and radiant, even when temperatures drop.
